Naitik Vakharia
Co- founder and Principal Architect
Naitik is an alumnus of IDEA, Indus University, and the co-founder of Raasa Architects. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at IDEA, where he contributes to the Foundation Year, office training, and interdisciplinary academic initiatives.

His intellectual pursuits lie at the confluence of architectural representation, design cognition, and construction, examined through his undergraduate thesis Study of Architectural Sketches as a Tool of Observation & Expression, which interrogates drawing as an instrumental medium in the design process and execution.

Beyond architecture, Naitik possesses expertise in publication and graphic design, synthesizing conceptual rigor with strategic visual communication. He approaches publication as a collaborative, narrative-driven endeavor and has contributed to seminal works such as The Modern Indian Architecture, Timeless Echoes of Kulluta, Context and Anatomy in Architecture of Leh and Ladakh, Setting Sail – A Documentation of Wooden Boats at Mandvi, and Alternative Assemblies Techniques of Auroville – Handbook.

Propelled by a conviction in visual representation as a potent interdisciplinary conduit, Naitik persistently explores how drawing, design, and storytelling can amplify the articulation and dissemination of architectural ideas. His praxis further engages with the crucial intersection of architectural education and professional practice, striving to reconcile the oft-perceived schism between academia and the profession, thereby advancing a more cohesive and integrative paradigm of architectural pedagogy and practice.
